Natural Area & General Landscaping Committee
This Committee organizes events and activities around the Natural Area as well as the general landscaping of the common areas. Examples include:

Holistic Landscaping Committee
This Committee is responsible for documenting historical projects and vendors to create a comprehensive knowledge book to hand off to future Committee & Board members, the long-term vision of the landscaping, and how to correct current issues. Examples include:
Replacing all sprinkler heads to industry and system standards
Tree Protection - Ash tree injections, Pine beetle spray, trimming/pruning, removal of dead trees & stump grinding
Test strips of native sod
Relandscaping the Monument Signs
Relandscaping the Pool Area
Avg. Time Commitment per Month: ~3-5 hours

Design Review Committee
This Committee ensures that all exterior property improvements are aligned with the neighborhood guidelines.

Pool Committee
This Committee helps the Board with various pool projects such as furniture inventory & replacement, pool satisfaction surveys, umbrellas, storage and more.
Avg. Time Commitment per Month: ~5-7 hours (May-August)

Committee Rules:
Bylaws Section 4.6 - Committees. The Board of Directors may, by resolution or resolutions passed by a majority of the whole Board, designate one or more committees, each of such committees to consist of two (2) Directors which, to the extent provided in said resolution or resolutions and subject to the limitations of Colorado law and of the Declaration, shall have and may exercise such powers of the Board in the management of the business and affairs of Maple Hill as the resolution or resolutions of the Board shall specifically provide. Such committee or committees shall have such name or names as may be determined from time to time by resolution adopted by the Board of Directors. Committees established by resolution of the Board of Directors shall keep regular minutes of their proceedings and shall report the same to the Board as required. The provisions of this Section 4.6 shall not apply to the Architectural Review Committee nor the Tribunal (per Section 12.4) and shall not require a Director as a member of those Committees.
Committee Guidelines:
Committees are open to all neighbors (including renters) and should have no less than three (3) members including 1 chair, plus two (2) Directors (except for the DRC and Tribunal as mentioned in Bylaw 4.6).
All Committee members are volunteers.
When the Committee is formed and meets for the first time, the members must complete a Committee Charter and delivered to the Board of Directors within five (5) days after the meeting.
When new members join the Committee, they must read the existing Committee Charter and have the opportunity to suggest changes.
Committees are encouraged to meet as often as needed but must meet at least one a month.
Meeting minutes must be taken and delivered to the Board of Directors within five (5) days after the meeting.
Meeting agendas are not required, but certainly encouraged.
The Committee chair must attend quarterly Board of Directors meetings to deliver recommendations, updates on progress, and new issues/requests. If the Chair is unavailable, then another Committee member must attend.
Committees have the power to suggest improvements to the neighborhood or bylaws and implement policy as directed by the Board of Directors.
